Greetings! We are Mark and Galena, currently operating our small, handcrafted business out of Salem, Oregon. We started out selling just our Magical Forest Friends (herb and seed stuffed wool unicorns) at festivals and markets around Oregon in 2010, adding hula hoops, poi spinners, and play swords along the way. We grew our business with an Etsy shop for 14 years (while still happily selling at festivals as well) until we realized that the best part of selling our little creatures was physically interacting with all of you folks who understand the magic of what we make. Like so much of life, our little business came full circle, back to where we began. We are called The Roaming Peddlers because we love to roam and peddle our wares like folks have done for centuries. And now we have so many more critters and things to choose from!

That being said, we wanted to provide you with an option to buy our wares someplace besides the in-person venues and decided to do it our own way, where we can color outside the lines and create a cozy little shop online that feels like us. So here I am creating a website for you guys. :) Hope this makes it easier to grab some special, handmade trinkets and toys on a rainy day, if you're far away, or you just need a unique gift for someone (or yourself!) sooner rather than later.
